Data Transformation

All Star’s Transformation solution extends your powerful information capture platform with the ability to perform comprehensive data extraction and document classification. This technology is designed to eliminate manual data entry and significantly reduce manual document preparation and classification

Once documents have been captured (scanned, faxed, email, EDI, XML) and normalized as an image, the Transformation Module converts the image to text, parses the data and extracts the data fields from the document based on the configuration parameters set up by All Star in consultation with your business experts. The Transformation solution supports over 140 languages and can handle both structured and unstructured documents. Complete scalability lets you purchase only those features you need right now but also provides the option to upgrade as your company grows.

The technology behind the Transformation module is configurable both through an intuitive GUI interface for the majority of tasks and with an expansive scripting library for more specialized functionality. The All Star Transformation solution uses “online learning” technology to help the system “learn” in real time how to classify and extract data going forward. The initial implementation will eliminate seven out of ten keystrokes the day the system enters production. Going forward, the “online learning” functionality will improve performance as your organization processes more documents.
